Balanced Meals
-
Proteins: Serve lean meat, fish, or plant-based proteins like beans and lentils. These are essential for muscle development and repair.
-
Healthy Fats: Incorporate avocados, nuts, and olive oil. Fats are essential for brain development and the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins.
-
Complex Carbohydrates: Choose whole grains like brown rice, quinoa, and oats. These provide energy and fiber, aiding in digestion.
-
Fruits and Vegetables: Aim for a rainbow of colors to ensure a variety of vitamins and minerals. Fresh, steamed, or pureed options are all beneficial.
Portion Sizes and Frequency
-
Small, Frequent Meals: Toddlers have small stomachs, so offer smaller portions throughout the day. Aim for three main meals and two to three healthy snacks.
-
Serving Sizes: Start with a tablespoon of each food type per year of age as a guideline and adjust based on their appetite and growth needs.
Avoiding Common Pitfalls
-
Limit Sugar and Salt: Keep added sugars and salt to a minimum to develop healthy taste preferences.
-
Beverages: Stick to water and milk, limiting juices and sugary drinks which can lead to tooth decay and excessive calorie intake.
Encouraging Healthy Eating Habits

Absolutely love this product for our little fussy eaters. have noticed a huge difference
The immune boost berry taste was a nice little add in to my post workout protein shake. The product come in a resealable pouch style bag. Inside the contents are easily measured out into whatever method you desire to consume. The flavor was good. Did not notice any clumping or granules in my blended shake. Have no just tried sprinkling onto yogurt as others have mentioned but will be trying soon. Great way to get your vitamins, pro and prebiotics. Not just for kids!
Good way to get extra nutrients into my daughters. Mixed okay in milk but didn’t easily dissolve fully hand mixing I had a better experience mixing it with my blender. We liked it best adding it to a smoothie for my girls. I went through the ingredients list and was happy as a mother with what it includes.
This may be marketed for kids but I personally wanted a little immunity boost so I thought I'd give this a try. I mixed it with plain Greek yogurt (there's no sugar in the yogurt). I discovered that the granules are really tart tasting and that it takes a minute for it to blend in with the yogurt. If you're looking for sweet, you're going to need to add that for yourself. Can't speak as to whether it did anything immunity wise, but I was healthy when I started using it a week ago and I'm still healthy now, so so far nothing negative to report.
Fruity taste. Takes a minute to mix, worked best in a blender in like a smoothie.
