A hydrating, energizing drink that’s both nutritious and healthy.
I'm personally not a fan of Kombucha flavour. It should have been a bit sweeter, and the flavor could have been a little stronger. Everyone has their own taste preferences.
But if you’re hustling, working from home, or running after little ones, this could be an Energy booster for you.
Lovely drink. Refreshing when made as an iced tea and also comforting as a warm drink. Love it. Will be trying out some recipes with it too. Purple creme brûlée? Oh yes.
We incorporated this product as the centerpiece of our new Summer menu at the cafe, where it was used to create both a vibrant superfood smoothie and a nourishing bowl. Customers have responded positively, enjoying its naturally sweet flavor, which is smooth and not at all grassy. The product also contributes a beautiful color to our offerings, and it pairs exceptionally well with blueberries, enhancing the overall taste and appeal. Will be purchasing again.
Marvella's powdered kombucha product is convenient way to make a refreshing drink with benefits, but it is not the same as store-bought or homemade kombucha. It tastes different, but I like it regardless. The unique aspect of Marvella's product is the addition of Australian native plant ingredients, such as Lemon Aspen and Lemon Myrtle, which give a distinct flavor profile.I like it for the ease of use and potential benefits from the probiotics. I enjoyed the Lemon flavor and like to convenience to control the concentration of your drink.
I've added this to my wellness routine. It is AWESOME!! I love it.
This to me taste more like a lemon balm electrolyte drink. It does not take like kombucha. This mixed powder does not have carbonation. I make kombucha at home and I like the carbonation that a traditional kombucha drink has. To me this drink is like an electrolyte that is loaded with probiotics. I like it because it has kept me hydrated because I really don't like drinking plain water. Recommend. This product is made in Australia.
This lemon-flavored Mavella kombucha powder arrived in a resealable pouch. All ingredients are listed. The suggested use of 1 tsp powder mixed with 200 ml water (which is just 6.76 ounces) took me a while to find as it’s written just under the pouch seal (far above the typical spot in the nutrition information). At a 1 tsp serving this pouch contains 25 servings.I’ve enjoyed many brands and flavors of bottled Kombucha, but one of my favorites is a ginger lemonade, so this flavor profile sounded good to me.I weighed my water and went just over 200 ml, which is a small drink. I used still water as we don’t buy sparkling, and I missed the fizziness of bottled kombucha. The powder in each of the three drinks I’ve made never fully mixed; there were quite a few floating bits along with visible residue on my glass as I drank my drink, even with extra stirring. All I could taste was a mild, slightly candied lemon flavor. I couldn’t detect the turmeric, apple cider vinegar, or ginger. Monk fruit extract is the sweetener, so there was no aftertaste. I will drink the rest of the pouch and hope for benefits from the probiotics, but I wouldn’t reorder. The pouch I received in September 2024 was clearly marked “Best before 25 OCT 2025”. “Packed in Australia from less than 10% of Australian Ingredients.”
surprised it tasted just like homemade kambucha. I found this to have better probiotic effects than activia yogurt if you know what I mean. decent value for 25 servings. it sparked interest in getting back into brewing.
I have been caring for my own little kombucha slime pet for quite a few months now. It gives me good kombucha, but I only make the kombucha about once a week and drink it in far less than that. I thought this would be an easy substitute for fresh kombucha when I don't have any of my own to drink. While I like the beverage it makes, I don't get a whole lot of kombucha flavor from it. I also don't get much of the watermelon flavor that mine was supposed to be even though it's the second ingredient and listed at a concentration of 12%. It's fruity and slightly kombucha-y and also reminds me of stevia, but I think it's the monk fruit that I'm tasting. I was disappointed to see that they really don't give directions on how to use the kombucha powder on the packaging, no more than what the Amazon page says, to say take a scoop (not included) and mix in water. I have mixed as much as a tablespoon full with 8 oz of water and it still doesn't have as much flavor as my own kombucha. There's a little grit in the drink if I mix it with plain water.I really appreciate that the company is up front about ingredients and other product information. I like the drink and I trust that it has live probiotics in it. It's good. I don't get a whole lot of caffeine pick-me-up from it, but I do know that my body processes caffeine a little unusually. There's just a little sense of disappointment that I don't get the kombucha flavor I was hoping for.
Unusual blue color for a healthy beverage. The tea and fruit flavors are prominent, with a little sweetness and hint of tartness. The caffeine gives an energy boost, and the powder is very convenient and portable. The recommended mixing size is for less than a cup, and enjoying a couple servings might exceed what some would consider low caffeine. The expiration is over a year from now, which is great. Colorful change from the regular kombucha, with some Australian flavors.
I like to drink simple, flavored kombucha and usually get the premeasured packets, but this somewhat lemon flavored Australian Native kombucha blend is a loose powder that makes 25 one-teaspoon servings. It is not the typical kombucha in formula or taste. Some of the added ingredients are ginger, Australian lemon aspen, lemon myrtle, tumeric extract, black pepper, and apple cider vinegar (ACV). I have only drank the prebiotic/ probiotic powder mixed with water. Because of the added ingredients it does not taste as anywhere as good as typical kombucha and I definitely needed more sweetener to make it somewhat palitable. I feel like there is added value in the extra ingredients but it is a trade off as far as taste. I would say it depends on what your trying to accomplish healthwise with a kombucha drink.
This kombucha comes in a resealable pouch and is in very fine powder form. Upon opening, I could definitely smell the lemon scent of this product. I wish there were instructions included on the packaging as to how much to use but all it had as far as mixing was to just add water. I made a cup using one teaspoon of kombucha powder to 8 ounces of water and mixed. The powder dissolved fairly well, although there were still remnants of some green looking stuff on the surface as you can see in my picture. I definitely could taste lemon, not really ginger at all, along with a bittersweet taste that I usually get from stevia. I am not a fan of stevia and I am not sure if this is an ingredient as I couldn't find the list. I did experience slight bitter aftertaste as well, which wasn't very appealing. I did finish my cup and didn't experience any unwanted side effects. I just wish the flavor was more tasty.
I love kombucha, but store-bought kombucha can be inconvenient and expensive. I recently discovered this powdered kombucha, and I love the convenience of it. The watermelon flavor is delicious and fresh. The packets are good for 24 servings, and they only have 15 calories each. They really do fizz up, which was surprising. They taste good, and there is no bad aftertaste. I love them on the go. I recommend them 100%.
I have had a variety of Kombucha powdered drinks and this comes no where near what I would expect from Kombucha tea. I mixed the recommended amount and found the taste to be rather sweet without any tartness. The flavors were more lime with just a hint of watermelon. Kombucha drinks are also a little bit fizzy, even powdered ones but this had none of that.I also found the dark blue color of the drink to be somewhat unappealing. It looked like I was drinking something moldy and dirty. Oh well, not for me.
I like kombucha so I was interested in trying this. It definitely is not as strong of a flavor as I was expecting but it was a pleasant flavor. It tasted like lemon and ginger, and it mixed pretty well with water. I like that the bag is resealable.
We were sent an EMPTY bag. Completely sealed. We've had this product in the past and it's nice, although a little savory heavy. But for the amount we paid, there should be better quality control. AND the item isn't eligible for return, it made it very difficult to get a refund.
This Mavella Kombucha Powder – Blue Lime Flavor is really refreshing! It has a sweet, light flavor, that is more like a water infusion than traditional kombucha, while still having the pre- and probiotic benefits. I’ve had two glasses so far—the first, trying to do the serving according to the directions, and the second time, using two heaping teaspoons in a larger amount of water. Both times the flavor was subtle, but really tasty. The powder stirs into water easily and is a beautiful turquoise color.
Quite pleased with this probiotic and fiber supplement. I feel that it is quite effective. It is easy to add to beverages. My children don't really seem to notice all that much different about their beverage. Glad to have something that is so helpful.
My son is very picky and refuses to eat vegetables. We tried this as a new alternative just to get in some greens! Now we sprinkle it on everything, and he’s loving it! Not sure how effective it is but it helps to introduce him to new flavors and get used to veggies.
Excellent addition to my daily routine. The combination of black and green tea, along with probiotics and prebiotics, has worked wonders for my digestion. The taste is far more refreshing than it smells with just the right hint of lemon, making it enjoyable to drink. I also appreciate the inclusion of apple cider vinegar and ginger for added health benefits. It's incredibly easy to mix, and I love that it provides 25 servings in one compact container. Highly recommend this for anyone looking to support their gut health!
One of my daughters is not a huge fan of yogurt so this was a good product to put into her almond milk to get some probiotics into her diet. Took some effort to get the powder to dissolve into it. Seems to aid her digestion and she didn’t mind the flavor when added into her almond milk.
My kids enjoyed this flavor in milk. I appreciate being able to get more vitamins in them when we are going through more picky stages and this helps me not to worry that they are not getting what is needed in their diets. Ingredients seem to be sourced from quality places and I feel like it was a good value for our family. It did take a little effort to get it to fully dissolve in milk.
Doesn't taste bad. MAY be good for you. caffeine does not = energy (but I think I understand the correlation.)
Pros:* easy to mix, easy to use* the taste goes well with a smoothie, and kids will love itCons:* your...gut...will...move* read that one above, carefully. If you arent used to priobiotics and gut health, this will be an eye opening experience for you, in a healthy way!
First sip I was confused because it didn't taste like any kombucha I've ever had but then I started to really like it, I ended up having 3 cups. Not sure if that was good for me, but it was almost addicting. The kombucha is a little bitter, like a strong turmeric flavor, and you can also taste ginger and lemon. It's also sour like vinegar and lemon and barely sweetened. Most kombucha mixes I've had were super sweet, like juice-so I really love that this one isn't like that. It tastes like a health drink.Definitely a hit or miss with people but I love it. If you are OK with it tasting a medicinal with ginger, lemon and bitterness with a hint of fermented bubbliness this is going to be great.
