Sunflower Seed Hummus

Ingredients

  • 3/4 raw hulled sunflower seeds
  • 1 boiled large carrot
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp water (or more)
  • 1/2 a lime, juiced
  • 1 tbsp Mavella Superfoods Veggie Boost
  • Pinch of sea salt (optional)


 Method:
 1. Place the sunflower seeds in a small bowl, cover with water and let soak for a couple of hours.
 2. Bring a small pot to a boil, peel and chop the carrot and boil until tender.
 3. Add all the ingredients to a food processor and process until smooth.
 4. You can serve tablespoons of hummus with seasoned / roasted seeds in the middle to create a sunflower shape. 
5. Drizzle with olive oil and add a pinch of sea salt
