Ingredients
For the dough:
- 130ml boiling water
- 40g butter
- Pinch of sea salt
- 250g all-purpose flour
Filling:
- 1/2 cup leftover marinara sauce
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella
- 1 tsp Mavella Superfoods Veggie Boost
Method:
- In a small bowl mix Mavella Superfoods Veggie Boost into the marinara sauce and set aside.
- Mix all the ingredients for the dough using a stand mixer and mix for about 7 minutes, until a soft dough is formed. Let rest on the counter until cool to the touch.
- Roll out the dough with a rolling pin and cut with a pumpkin shaped cookie cutter.
- Place the pumpkins on a baking tray, sprayed with cooking oil. Add a tsp of sauce to the center of each one, sprinkle with mozzarella and close with another pumpkin. You can use a fork to close all around.
- Bake for about 10 minutes or until golden on top
