Ingredients
- 170g Frozen or fresh blackberries
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 80g grated cheese (white cheddar/mozzarella/your favorite!)
- 2 tsp maple syrup (optional)
- 1 tsp butter
- Sandwich bread
- 1 tsp Mavella Superfoods Australian Grown - Purple Carrot
Method:
- Place the frozen/fresh blackberries and lemon juice in a small saucepan and cook until softened.
- Mash with a fork and mix in Mavella Superfoods Australian Grown Purple Carrot. Set aside.
- Assemble the sandwiches with two slices of bread, layering the grated cheese and blackberry jam in between.
- Toast on each side until golden brown and the cheese is melted. Serve warm. Drizzle with maple syrup (optional).
